Better than I thought it was gonna be after the last two.
The conclusion of it felt like the author was just trying to make you feel emotional with a bunch of unnecessary deaths. But overall it was a good ending to the series if not a little frustrating.

A fitting conclusion to the Song of the Lioness quartet. I did feel that this one had some pacing issues and I didn’t always love Alanna’s character development, but overall I had a good time.
A nice series for the nostalgic vibes (even though I’d never read it before) and I’m glad I picked it up.

Unglaublich, wie sehr mich die Lieblings-Buchreihe meiner Kindheit im Nachhinein beeinflusst hat, und noch viel unglaublicher wie offen, zugänglich und erwachsen in den Büchern mit Heranwachsen, Geschlechterrollen, Liebe, körperlicher Zuneigung ohne Liebe, Eifersucht und das Abhandensein dieser wenn es zu klarer Kommunikation kommt, Geschwisterrivalität und -liebe, Loyalität, Tod, Selbstmord und allem voran bedingungslose Freundschaft thematisiert wird.
