This was exactly how I expect the Blossoms to act in a horror arc for Riverdale, so I was pleased with the storyline. There was a nice twist I didn't see coming and I hope there's a continuation from where the story leaves off. I really loved the art style and it fit the narrative so well.

The Blossom Twins of Riverdale harbor a dark secret. One of them is destined to be the antichrist. Will it be Jason or Cheryl... or neither?

So I had high hopes for this and the beginning had a lot of potential. It felt like The Omen meets Cruel Intenions starring the Archie gang. There was even a couple good twists in the mix. And then it was over with no resolution and no issues have been done after #5.

I'm not a huge Cullen Bunn fan but I thought his writing was great in this. Laura Braga is no Francesco Francavilla but her art was up to the task.

Severely underwhelmed by the end of this. I'm not really motivated to write much else.

I love Archie. The Archie horror line is extremely fun. Just wish they would finish the stories instead of leaving on a cliffhanger with no resolution.

I am greatly amused by the dark world Archie comics, I just love the idea that Veronica is secretly a vampire or Archie a zombie, or all the major adults are secretly part of a satanic cult that they didn't raise their kids in. It just makes me giggle. But for all the goofs of idea this book mostly lost me on execution. It hints at fun/spooky stuff but never explores it at all. Really it feels more like an introduction to a long running horror series than a completed one off series. The art is lovely throughout but there are just too many red headed boys to keep straight in Riverdale. In all, fun but not super worth picking up unless the Archie comics are really your thing.

Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for it, but this book just really didn’t do it for me.
