Wow. Thriller isn’t usually my genre but I could not put this one down. There were a few parts that left me confused but then most of it made sense in the end. I still do not like Piper, AT ALL. And her last thought at the end, she’s an evil B. Book #66 in 2021

Meh. This one was not for me. Pretty predictable, not enough character development to root for anyone. No parent would pretend a child’s mother was dead if they were just separated so I knew something was up with Julia

The sister author duo Liv Constantine is known for writing darkly fun & unpredictable domestic thrillers and The Wife Stalker is just that.

What I liked:

>alternating character perspectives with short chapters

>unreliable narrators

>multiple ending twists that I didn’t see coming

This is my third Liv Constantine. I’d rank this one third, behind The Last Mrs. Parrish and The Stranger in the Mirror (recent release.) Overall, solid thriller in the 3.5 - 4 ⭐️ range!

if you’re looking for your next psychological thriller- consider picking up The Wife Stalker by @livconstantine2 ! I thought I had a good grasp on where this thriller was headed, but I was surprised

Good story with a twist I did not see coming, though there were clues that stood out from time to time. Told through the point of view of Piper and Joanna. Piper is new to town and is trying to put her past behind her. She meets Leo, a handsome rich lawyer but sees that he has a ring on his finger, though it doesn't seem to stop her. Joanna is waiting for Leo to get out of his depressive spell and get back to the man that she fell in love with years ago. Leo falls in love with Piper and tries to cut all ties with Joanna but Joanna is desperate to find something about Piper that will that will end their marriage about her past.

An entertaining quick read.

I started and finished this book on a Friday evening... I couldnt put it down! Very comparable to The Last Mrs Parrish (I was starting to think it was somewhat of a sequel or too much alike actually) but Constantine didnt disappoint with her ending. I only give it 4 out of 5 stars because, without giving away too much, I was a bit heartbroken when a truth was revealed. Enough said. Definetely a great read!
