If you’re looking for an entertaining, binge read this domestic thriller is going to be right up your alley. Readers familiar with the genre will find the story has a lot of familiar elements, however, the @livconstantine2 do an amazing job writing from two POV and I am willing to bet you will not see will not be able to predict the ending

Twists and turns make some of these incredibly unlikeable characters redeemed by the end of the story!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this novel. All opinions are my own.

I didn't know what to think! When the book begins I really felt for Joanna. She's got a good life - a good family with great kids and a husband who has gone through some mental health issues but is nonetheless successful and provides for his family.

All of that changes for her in the blink of an eye when Leo meets Piper and falls under her spell, quickly dumping Joanna for Piper. It's an awful thing to think about, completely losing your family at the snap of fingers. Any woman would probably lose it a little bit, do things that she normally wouldn't do.

Around the middle of this book I almost started to feel for Piper. Joanna starts to do things that some might deem a little crazy - digging into Piper's past, stalking Piper when she's with the children, leaving nasty comments on Piper's blog and calling to scream at her. In a way I kind of wondered if that's how I'd act.

Except this book jumps back and forth between Joanna and Piper, and when we see things unfold through Piper's eyes she at first seems like a conniving husband stealer, but then you almost want to root for her. It's so confusing, but in a good way that really makes you question who's in the wrong and who's in the right.

This book is such an exciting read with a good twist that definitely makes it one of my favorites of 2020. You'll want to check it out!

This is the perfect entertaining beach read. I devoured it in a weekend (for a busy mom, this is a quite a feat!). The story line is engaging and keeps you guessing! Highly recommend!

This book had me thinking one way the whole entire time. Then the last few chapters it took a huge right turn and took me a moment to gather what was being said. Super impressed with this writing!

3.5 Very similar to their other book, The Last Mrs. Parrish.

I enjoyed it and also devoured it! Very much a quick read type thriller but super enthralling and entertaining.

While I liked this one better than Constantine's more popular book, The Last Mrs. Parrish, this story still suffers from some clunky storytelling devices that require some big leaps of faith from readers. If you stick with it, it pays off in the end, but you do find your mind wandering off thinking, "Really? That's how the characters choose to handle this? That doesn't really sound plausible.". My best advice: Try not to overthink it and just enjoy the ride.

Meh. Didn’t love, but didn’t hate it either
