WHEW. I spent so much of this book ANGRY at what was going on. I was so confused trying to figure out where the end was gonna go. I eventually did have a sneaking hunch that turned out to be correct, but it still floored me. This is a great, fast paced read! You will be absolutely invested all the way through!
Ok, so for those who haven’t read this yet, HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS!
This book of marital mayhem left me questioning everything. Set in the idyllic backdrop of Westport, Connecticut, this tale weaves a web of love, betrayal, and jaw-dropping twists.
Joanna and Leo's relationship hits a rocky patch when Leo's depression threatens to drown him. Enter Piper Reynard, a magnetic force of nature who sweeps into their lives, leaving chaos in her wake. Piper and Leo's connection sparks a wildfire of passion that
threatens to consume everything in its path, including Joanna. I still have many questions about Piper?!?!?
The first hundred pages fly by, but there's a brief lull in the middle before the story ramps up to an explosive climax that I did not see coming. I was totally had.
The revelation is a gut-punch, and you’ll either be mad about it or totally enamoured by it. It’s really hard to write a review without giving too much away so I’ll leave you with this:
While this book might toe the line of credibility at times, it's a eye-popping thriller that demands to be devoured. And if you think you've got it all figured out, think again.
Make sure you pop some popcorn too!

I wanted an easy palate cleanser read, but this one was just too cheesy and predictable to stick with.

2.5 stars, okay twist, but not that well written. There were two parts that stick out as inconsistent and not realistic. One turned out to be part of the twist later, but the other one was just a little, well, dumb. Easy, quick read.
QUICK TAKE: The twist totally saved this one. For sure up there with MRS PARRISH, though it does feel like it's treading on similar territory up until the last 20 pages. That twist though (insert slow clapping).
