This was a fast paced thriller that I devoured in one sitting. The entire book is suspenseful and keeps the reader engaged, but what I enjoyed the most was the plot twist. The author(s) do such a great job of keeping you caught up in what is happening that you don’t see it coming. However, it’s one of those cases where, if you look back, everything was blatantly obvious the entire time, but you realize that you ignored the warning signs.

The characters are evenly divided between being loathsome and lovable, and there were many times I wanted to jump into the pages to smack some sense into them. Overall, this is a great palate cleanser read, one that can either pull you out of a slump or help you meet a reading goal quickly.
