This book is so dense, so it feels like everything is a spoiler, so just in case:
Loved that the book handles abortion, and the difference between Camilla and Karen and that they both had the chance to choose. I was listening to this on the way home from my honeymoon just after the overturn of Roe V. Wade was announced, and my husband and I were hit hard by this part. Made me cry. I wish Graham and Karen got together in the end, but I understand who they both are as people and why it wouldn’t work.
Daisy is one of my favorite characters because of how the book treats her, the back and forth is so interesting and real. She’s not perfect by any means and you get annoyed and frustrated with her, but you do with everyone! I love that the characters aren’t perfect. Her ending was amazing, everyone’s ending worked well. Simone was just a fantastic foil to Daisy.
THE ONLY THING I DIDN’T LIKE WAS THE PLOT TWIST. Billy and Camilla’s daughter being the narrator is just weird to me, I can see passed it, but I would not want to hear about all the dirty secrets my parents have. However, I’m glad Billy and Camilla raised her right, to see people at their best, even when they are telling you their worst.<\spoiler>
Well worth the listen.

Secondly, Daisy Jones and The Six was beautifully executed. The story is just as thrilling as it is magically atmospheric and at the same time perfectly halarious at just the right times.
The unique way it is written makes the experience of reading it maybe a little difficult for some, but also memorable and different from other books with the same kind of plotline.
I loved it. But I took my time with it. I don't think that this is necessarily a book you would want to read in a sitting. Let the characters settle with you a bit. Give them time and I think you also will enjoy this book a lot.

AUDIOBOOK all the way!
Listen to the audiobook.
Spectacular story and complex cast, perfectly narrated. Every character is grey, broken and messed up, but they all perfectly made sense. The interview format worked so well. It was interesting to see how each character remembered the same events a little differently.
I hated Daisy, so much! Right from the start. She is supposed to be this main character - all pretty, courageous, strong headed with a tainted backstory. But to me she was just so annoying, I wanted her away from Billy. She grew on me, I understood her but I hated her irrespective.
I loved Billy despite all his flaw. I loved the fact that he was atleast trying, constantly trying. My heart was breaking for him. And all the others.
Camila was my ride or die. That woman is the real deal.
Taylor Jenkins Reid is such a brilliant author, even if i hated some and loved other I was hooked. I found my emotions heightened when I was read and my mind stuck in on the page when I wasn’t.
I am ecstatic this is being made into a tv show, because I need to experience those songs (lyrics were not enough to satisfy me), the chemistry and the mess of this band.
