The plot keeps thickening and more players enter the game, some revelations that I suspected became true and other plot twists shocked me. The art, as always is fantastic

I like that we are further introduced to this thing connected to M.

Seeing other types of characters with animalistic appearances was really cool. Especially M's family, for some reason I thought she was the sole member of the Halfwolves and was floored that a characteristics knew was her kin (not spoiling).

All I pray is that Little Fox stays unharmed because she puts so much trust into M. She better not break my favorite characters heart🥺🤬

Game of Thrones meets Lovecraft. Massive world-building and and cast of characters, but dark and surreal. It's a lot. Sometimes I struggle to follow everything, but the story is intriguing, the art is beautiful, and the characters - the characters are are so unique and given such backgrounds that you could take any one of them and put them in their own story.

Once again the art is just perfection. I would own this even if I didn't like the story just based on the art. This volume does take a little ramping up, as I found the first chapter to just be ok, but each one after was just better and better.

I really enjoy the character designs, and how detailed they are. There is quite an extensive list of characters, but it doesn't feel overwhelming. Maika's companions have some of the best dialogue and interactions. There are also some cute/heartwarming scenes to balance out the horror/wartime ones.

We learn more about Maika's past, which is incredibly helpful in understanding the overarching storyline. This volume also gives off Pirates of the Caribbean vibes with the adventure that the main cast faces. Overall, I enjoyed this even more than volume 1, and I can't wait to jump into volume 3
