This book dragged for me. I don't like the strategy of withholding information from the reader for the sake of "twists." I figured out most of the twists before getting to them. So much of this book was unbelievable and frustrating to read. It was too long and didn't go anywhere for a long time. I finished it just to get to the end with a hope for redemption. It wasn't there.

Everything was obvious. Besides the ending giving the real story. I felt bad for the MC.

I have no complaints about this mystery thriller! It had some interesting family drama, a little true crime, and the ending came together nicely! It just didn't blow my mind like Sarah Pinborough's other novels, but still a worthy read!

This was probably one of the hardest books to get through. Broke my heart.

There are three parts to this story and it took me until part two to want to finish reading. This book is sick and twisted, and I had many “wtf” moments. I feel like it ended very abruptly and that there really wasn’t any closure. All of a sudden it was just over and people moved on.

I wouldn’t say I hated this book but definitely a disappointment. Just too much going on and took long to get to the Daniel story. Also had a really really really hard time believing Jody was Katie. Be a good book for new thriller readers.
