Disjointed, and the premise of the marriage of convenience made no sense.
I'm enjoying this series. The men are all, of course, outrageously rich. And it's a bit unrealistic. But I like the characters and the storyline. An enjoyable read.
2 Stars.
Nope, just not good. The story is stupid: person has been in WITSEC almost their whole life but just decides to put themselves all over National TV in a press conference? And where were US Marshall’s? They usually handle WITSEC, right? Not local police. Guy who was a judge decides to become Governor...why? He was sitting pretty as a judge in his thirties.

Another fast, easy read. The premise to the series is kind of ridiculous but it's entertaining
emotional
funny
relaxing
fast-paced
Excellent! Better than the first because it also has suspense and deals with the Witness Protection Program. Brings up a very good issue about the program and was very entertaining
This is the second book in the series of Weekday Brides, I think you could read tthis independent of the other but would miss a lot due to the story of Samanth and Blake and their relationship with Eliza and Carter. This has a suspense theme running concurrent to the romance, while I don't generally enjoy suspense it was good in this story. This romance was sweet and full of passion.
Can't wait for book three, out Aug 2013.

Light reading material
Light hearted read, even with the somewhat intense issue with Eliza. Carter and Eliza definitely had chemistry. Some steamy sex scenes. Good for taking your mind off of life for awhile. Some editing issues, but was able to overlook. Pretty quick read.

Book two in the Weekday Brides Series by Catherine Bybee
Carter is Blake's bff and Eliza is Sam's business partner and friend.
Eliza and Carter are rivals they constantly argue and love fighting each other.
Carter is running for governor and needs a squeaky clean rep and after following Eliza and Blake's sister Gwen to a honky tonk to experience a real nightclub with real cowboy.
Only things heat up quick and Carter and his bodyguard Neil have to protect Eliza and Gwen end up in s fight which is then reported in news making Carter's polls drop.
That when they come up with a plan to marry to try and bring pols back up.
Eliza has secrets and takes Carter a while but he finally finds out she's in witness protection program and still in danger.
Really love that they seem like completely different people but once they stop arguing they suit really well.
Really enjoying this series so far I like that old characters from previous book is included in the story.
Great ending and HEA.
