Another great story! Eliza and Carter are terrific characters - and discovering Eliza's background throughout the story kept me turning those pages! Good plot twists and turns too - a great read! :)

I read this one first by mistake thinking it was the first in the series. I really enjoyed it. The hero is so sweet.
They have known each other for two years as 'friends' though they don't get along, there is mention of them dating other people but no detail which I liked.
No cheating, not too much angst. HEA.

Really loving this series!!! Nothing about the arranged marriage concept is cookie cutter and so far all of the stories are different but connected. Carter and Eliza work great together, the sexual tension jumps off the page, and they just work so well together. Loved the appearance of the secondary characters for the series and really felt the flow.

Awww Carter Billings me conquistó en libro anterior..... no te ofendas Blake.


Carter Billings es un exitoso abogado de San Francisco y esta en plena campaña para ser el elegido como el próximo gobernador del estado. Además de ser increíblemente sexy y carismático es el mejor amigo de Blake Harrison.

Eliza Havens es una mujer independiente y un poco misteriosa, ya que su pasado es un misterio y parte de la trama del libro. Pero sí hay algo que es cierto es que la atracción entre Carter y Eliza hace saltar chistas!!!

No soy imparcial con respecto a Carter... es un divino, un personaje cómico, irónico con esa pizca de de sensualidad que conquista, su familia es su centro es un hombre trabajador y genuinamente bueno; en otras palabras el galán perfecto. Eliza es una gran protagonista y todo su pasado y su historia es la trama central de libro junto con su conexión con la política y la familia de Samantha.

Una muy linda historia, romántica con un toque de suspenso y un punto que queda pendiente

que hizo Max Billings en realidad y que va a pedir a cambio...

que hace querer seguir leyendo la serie además de ver como sigue el negocio y la parejas que se van formando.
