I didn't realize when I bought this collection that I'd read many of the stories before. But I also decided it couldn't hurt to read them again. Each story follows Deadpool as he grapples with his inner demons and the reality of being a superhero with a daughter and friends. The stories are packed with action, humour, gore, and the signature absurdity that makes Deadpool one of my favorite comic book characters. The writing is exceptional enough that the emotional moments manage to hit home, too. Posehn and Duggan are two of my favorite Deadpoool writers, and I recommend this collection to all fans of the Merc with a Mouth.
