What a wild ride. I loved the chapters oscillating between the characters different perspectives and seeing them face and overcome their emotional baggage. You know that there are going to be “twists” at this unconventional health resort, yet you cannot predict them and so you just keep turning and turning the pages.

Audiobooked this one! Thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the development of each. Though, I do wish there was more time spent on character development and relationships (so, I guess the book was longer?). I also don’t quite understand the premise behind the title of this book - what makes these 9 strangers so perfect? What is it trying to say?

I listened to the audiobook version of this and it was narrated so well. I enjoyed the book overall, but I think the audiobook brought it to another level. Many story lines, especially that of Frances, had me laughing out loud. This was an excellent contrast to a number of scenes that were so deeply sad. The peak and resolution were honestly meh, but I loved the majority of the characters enough to overlook it and be invested in the epilogue.
