I really liked a good chunk of these stories and think I will have discovered some new authors to check out from it.   Some felt a bit samey but I would love to read this collection again in the future.

Some of the stories are actually really good and I would get into them only to realize they ended on the next page…hence, short stories are not my favorite way to read. I like getting invested.

2.75 that we are rounding up because mermaids.

Which feels fitting, all things considered. There wasn't a story that was overtly bad, but there wasn't one that was overtly amazing either. All just...solid. Lots of new authors to check out.
