3.5 stars with a bonus .25 for a fabulous dog character.

Ted the Private Investigator and her doggie sidekick Miss Marple are ready for anything, just ask them. This is written in a very TV style, there is a big crime, a little crime and a personal growth story all interwoven into an oddly compelling book. I think people who like Miss Fisher's Mysteries will like it. I wasnt wowed, I don't totally love PIs that don't work with the cops in my books, but Ted is an emotional investment and I want to see what she does next!

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

Starts a little slowly and a little repetitive (friends with benefits anyone!!) but it sucks you in!! Ted and Bob are fascinating characters and I look forward to seeing how this new case (no spoilers) impacts on Ted's blossoming relationship!
