This could have gotten such a better rating from me if James Patterson had included far less Barnes and Noble booksellers. It's honestly more than a bit sad especially with so many great independent bookstores out there. But he's James Patterson. What more should I have expected?
No notes - this book made me want to become a book seller or librarian and I will do whatever I can to get my books from small businesses in the future.
Preaching to the choir, this quickly gets old. Far too many stories about people who love books.
I grew up with parents who read and never feel like I'm home after I move until I have a library card. I don't have a TV, just bookshelves. Even I could only read around ten stories. They're all the same. Yes, they love books, but they all blend. People who love books don't need to read this and those who don't never will. The book's not bad, just unnecessary.

Working at a bookstore was my favorite job ever. This book felt like home.
What a love letter to books and reading, in essay form, from those of us who understand the power of sharing stories, information and life with others.

The stories were so genuine and spoke to the importance and passion of reading in many people's lives. I didn't feel the categories/parts made a lot of sense, but they worked to provide progress breaks.
