This was a good read that gives readers a small peek in the lives of many different librarians and booksellers. Definitely made me appreciate them more and I enjoyed the variety, however, wish we give more detail on what they do.

Love the idea of this book and all it says about people passionate about books. It is truly a love letter to the importance of books. I was hoping for better organization of the passages and not just a dumping of narratives. This could have been put together so much more cohesively but it just wasn’t there.

While this definitely disrupts the cozy fantasy of owning a bookstore, I’m here for the rewarding stories - reality be damned. Loving the theme of libraries as resistance, and this has me finally coming around to recognizing a preference for graphic novels as legitimately reading - my son should write the authors a thank you note.
