Sadie’s character was a truly awful human being. She gaslit Sam constantly, was downright cruel to him and just all round not a character I’d invest in. Dov was rapey and his elements reminded me of My Dark Vanessa.
I was so uninvolved in this story that the death wasn’t even a shock, I found myself hoping for it. Not for me I’m afraid

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow rescued me from one of the deeper reading lulls I’ve been in. Emotionally full, psychologically nuanced, with such rich and complex characters. I don’t know how she did it, but the story is exquisitely simple and yet full of details that stay with you. One of my top books this year, easily.

I had no idea what this book was really about, I just had heard good reviews about it so wanted to give it a try. Definitely worth the wait in the library hold line! The game development process got me interested and the characters and their relationships kept me hooked!
