It was my first book by Cynthia Eden and I enjoyed it. There were a lot of action, romance and danger. It was a good blend of romance and suspense. I liked that there were many twists in the story. Though I guessed the killer, it was exciting to read as the author made me second guess it.

4.5 Twisted Stars!
I loved this book every bit and i was involuntarily smiling a few times. An Alpha handsome hero , a beautiful heroine and a psychotic villain looming around. Plus the FBI. The romance between Dean and Emma was pretty hot and there are a few light moments between them. I loved the bits where Gabe gets to show his face !! There is a bit of Saran and Jax together ( which is a heads up for the next book in the series - Shattered). Not only the hero shows of his heroism, the heroine is equally brave, adventurous and she proves to be smarter than Mr Bannon at a few places ( where she reads ppl, the sherlock Holmes style). Then why 4.5 instead of 5 full stars?
********** Spoilers*************
The Whodunit part ( the suspense part), was something that was very easy to guess. At a particular point, Julia (the first victim of the killer), after being rescued, throws herself of the hospital. She shouts at the ppl who are coming to rescue her,( She uses first pronoun , "YOU"). This was a giveaway to a hard core Agatha Christie fan like me. And at that point I locked the Suspect ! Needless to say, I was right !

I'm 3 down in the series and looking forward to Torn!

Mystery and Romance
I have really enjoyed this series so far. There is mystery, intrigue, murder and hot steamy romance. You can't help but love that combination. I loved everything about Dean an Emma. Their chemistry was explosive from the beginning and add a murderer...you have a great book! I seriously can't wait to read about Sarah and Jax.

Ex-FBI MMC and slightly psychic FMC team up to go after a serial killer. The suspense angle is done well with a fast-paced chase, and the killer is super diabolical. A nice dose of insta-lust for this one but it kinda fits the tone of the book. He's the usual CE hero - alpha, growly and controlled. The 'touch her and die vibes' are strong!
She lives in the moment and takes what she wants - i.e. breaking his control 😂. They're both stubborn, and there's a fair bit of fighting at the beginning. With everything that went on, their intense connection works, and I like the way they defend and protect each other. And there's some good steam to go with it 😉

Twisted is another solid entry into the LOST series. This is the story of Dean Bannon, former FBI agent, now working for LOST. He goes to New Orleans looking for Julia Finney, a sixteen year old who has been missing for months. When Dean meets the beautiful "reader," Emma Castille who read for Julia the day before. Emma isn't psychic, but she learn to notice things that others miss by her father who was not only a con artist, but also died attempting to save sisters who had been abducted and died in the process. Emma learned her lessons well enough to be an asset to Dean and the rest of the LOST team. Emma becomes a target of the killer, but could it be that this case is also connected to Dean's past as well.
A good story that makes for easy, quick reading, but doesn't add anything new to the genre.
