If you like enemies-to-lovers for the bickering, check this one out. I swear, 75% of this book was either Jameson & Emily fighting or making up πŸ˜‰ The other part was a Emily & the Miles brothers trying to figure out who was feeding the competition insider secrets. I enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to get to know the other Miles brothers, especially Tristian.

First and foremost the sass and comebacks throughout the story had me in tears.

I'm not one for the office romance type, but this was a nice change of pace.

Emily and Jameson are both incredibly stubborn individuals and their bickering is hilarious, but this may be an issue for some. Emily plays hard to get the whole time when in reality she has it baaaaaad for him, and his CEO ass can't seem to lose his control for a second to communicate things to her.

Overall it's a really fast paced, light hearted book with good burns, good spicy scenes, and the typical drama you'd expect in a corporate setting.

I picked this book up for a little lighthearted smut, and I was not expecting such an intense story of betrayal, sabotage, and corporate problems. This story follows Emily, who is upgraded to a first class seat on her flight from London to New York. She is fatefully sat next to Jamison, and they spend the entire flight flirting. The plane is forced to land in Boston because of a storm, and all the passengers have to spend the night in a hotel, which is music to Emily and Jamison's ears. They spend a sensual night together, planning to never see each other again, until Emily starts her new job at Miles' Media and discovers Jamison is the CEO.
Throughout the majority of the story I found Emily to be an entirely insufferable character. She was so whiney and expected way too much from Jamison without giving the same to him. My favorite elements of the story were Jamison's limited perspectives, and I think I would have enjoyed the story far more if the whole story was solely from his perspective. I also found their dynamic way too toxic to be a healthy relationship. They would fight over everything the other one would say.

For the first book in the series I think this is a great introduction into the Miles Brothers. Jameson is very alpha like, but doesn’t have all of the qualities of an alpha. I thought Emily in the very beginning was a BAMF. And I did like all of the many dramas that were going on throughout the story.
