It’s not a perfect book, and some dialogue could have been better. BUT you can feel the soul and emotion this book has. It made me feel something. The world-building is lacking in some parts, and I wish we got to know more about everything, because I really like the whole war story and revolution.
Even if it’s not perfect, I loved how the story is written—very dynamic, to the point—because I don’t like when first books of a series take like 3 chapters to explain everything in a boring way.
The characters are interesting. I really enjoyed getting to know Violet and Xaden and the other dragon riders. (Xaden is my book HUSBAND now.)
Violet is an amazing character (sometimes annoying), but I couldn’t put this book down. The romance is incredible, the spice too.
For now, it’s 5 stars. Maybe it transforms into 4.5—we’ll see.
