i wanted to like this book a lot more than i actually did, but there was just something about it that didn’t click for me.

it was an interesting story, but i felt like i was more invested in the side plot and side characters than the actual main characters

Heartbreaking and hopeful.

This has to be my favorite book of the year, it's so raw, and sad but full of hope and love. I remember that time when AIDS was synonym of death and the fear it caused, this book portrays that fear so well, with so much emotion and sadness but so much courage. The characters were full of love and courage, along with the sadness and fear and death.
