This read like a fairytale honestly, it was lighthearted, low angst, with a dash of spice. Truly a lovely refreshing read! I also devoured it quickly because of how easy going it was haha. Overall loved this! Especially that last third, omg 🥹🫶

 This was a cute lil romance following a bookstore owner and a duke who decides (because of a bet) to make her the belle of the season. I usually don’t like it when bets are involved in romance but she knew about and was in on the bet, so this one was okay. Overall this is a cute, low stakes historical romance that I didn’t take issue with. Nor did it move me much. 3.5 stars
