Called to a murder scene, Detective Jameson Kennedy never expected the victim to be his partner Michael Donovan, nor did he expect Mike's ghost to materialise. The two will have to navigate a messy tangle of clues in order to solve not only Mike's murder but also the ones that follow it.

A paranormal police procedural? I was sceptical, to say the least. This definitely wasn't your usual ghost cosy and I'm glad it wasn't. Then again, it wasn't your usual buddy cops story, either. In pairing the two genres, T. K. Eldridge has crafted an engrossing tale that transcends both.

Recommended.

DNF at 10%. I'm not buying any of this. The ghost is odd, the relationship that ended with a ghost is made insignificant by the survivor's reactions, so what is the point? And a lot of the dialogue is trite. What a waste of an idea.
