I enjoyed this book so much and can it as a limited series or something. I do wish there was more history/context about what/why clear blood is such a cause for concern since the story revolves entirely off this idea. Besides that I truly enjoyed the dynamic characters, pace, and length of it all. Would definitely recommend!

Let me get one thing straight, this was a great debutane I can wait for the next book. But I feel like the character that is supposed to be really intelligent and have a lot of common sense would know not to write down his plans in a journal without even writing it in a way that only he could read or even keeping a death note journal at all! It is out of character and I feel is just a short cut to conflict that would have never happened if he stayed in character. Other than that, loved it. Just can't get past that one detail. Also Luca was the best character! Don't fight me because you're wrong.

This is one of the first books i ever read and it is still my favorite. I gave this to myself as a christmas gift in 2022 (Yes I give myself christmas gifts). This book was so good it is a book I would kill to get to read for the first time again. It was a 4 star in the beginning but the end had me give it a 5 star. This 'book melted my heart in the end it was so sad and some part of me wondered if the author wrote the end while he was drunk. But I highly recomend this book.
