I have a feeling kid me only picked this issue up for one reason and one reason only haha. Don't judge a book by its cover because the cover is clearly overcompensating for the poor writing within. Again I have no context from other parts to this series, but I argue that issues should be easy to read without said context. This one was not an easy read without it.

I didn't know what was going on or what they were talking about the entire time. The big reveal at the end only inspired more questions, and Batman and GL's flashbacks felt very random to me. The only reason it isn't one star is because the mystery, Jay and Dreamgirl's interactions, and my love for Wally West kept me going. Also Jeckie's emotes. They managed to make her expressions really impactful despite her full face mask which is impressive. And that hug with Red Arrow and GL gave me the feels even if I didn't know why they were so pleased to see him.
