Kept waiting for this book to grab me but it never did. Glad it was a short read because it was a total waste of time. Felt like an abridged edition. Characters were flat and boring, plot was simplistic. The weather played an important role but even that was boring. (example: "This woman would freeze within seconds." Really? She's inside a cabin, wrapped in a blanket, quite responsive and walking and talking.) Did a middle-school student write this?
