I started this series back in fifth grade, and though it has taken me a whilento read it, this is still one of the most amazing middle grade book series that I have ever read. I wish Joseph Delaney had wrapped things up at the end of the series, but it's still exciting to find more books featuring Tom and Alice. 5/5 stars

I've been reading this series ever since it was published nine years, and have loved it. While waiting for this book, I was excited, yet at the same time, apprehensive because I have read some series in which the final book falls flat, especially when previous books have been really good.

This was not the case for The Spook's Revenge.

To put it simply, I loved this book. Like previous books, there is a lot of action, so much that you won't want to put the book down. It was unpredictable and emotional - a few times I found myself wanting to throw my book at the nearest wall. There are plenty of surprises, especially where certain characters are involved. Also a warning, you may need tissues since I cried - something I rarely do with books - and if you've read the book, you'll know which part I mean.

This book wrapped up loose ends very nicely, with a solid resolution, with potential for more books in the future
which there will be!
. It's an extremely satisfying read, and I wouldn't want it to end any other way.

An amazing epic ending to and epic series. Filled with heart-wrenching moments with clever twists. Delaney is extremely clever. Small hints in previous books come to light. It is time for full circle.
