Entertaining read, just suspend your belief in reality a bit if you know a lot about the royal family! Very dynamic writing.

Not a book I’d planned to read but got as a Christmas present.

The media and the family of the royal bastard gang up to make her life hell, but she gets through it. Once a potential love interest is killed, who is the killer, and who's trying to frame her?
This book was a good mix of dark/emotional and funny. I wish there were more of the fun parts and less of the dark and emotional parts. The book's first half felt more like a contemporary romance, but the second half was more of a thriller. I would have preferred less romance.
Overall a pretty good book that covered some hard topics. I really appreciated the compassion and understanding of the author for the mother who struggled with schizophrenia. I also liked that she made sure to have a part in there that corrected the assumptions of some of the general public that people with schizophrenia are violent, when in fact they're more likely to be the victim than the perpetrator of violence.

Royal Blood is a fast paced story with lots of twists and turns that hook you from the very first page. I wasn’t planning on reading this right away but I started reading it in the bookstore and just had to take it home with me. I loved almost every minute of it. They characters felt real, and the secrets we got to see were interesting.

I think I've been swept up in Royal Fever since the coronation last weekend, so much so that this is my second royal book in a week!

Evan is the illegitimate child of King Alexander. The world doesn't know about her but she's turning 18 in 25 days and is hoping to return to life with her Mum. However, things don't always go the way you think. Evan ends up at Windsor castle, an American amongst all the pomp of the royal family. Unfortunately Evan gets tied up in scandals, gossip, murder and betrayal.

I really enjoyed this - I wasn't a fan of Evan but she does grow on you and what she went through was horrific. It's quite far fetched but it did throw me into life at Windsor Castle and I felt like I was there. I didn't know this was a series and I'll be looking out for book 2.

Look out for trigger warnings!
