This was the first book in the series that I didn't really like. The premise was ok but the pacing felt really off and the whole book felt muddled. Too much was happening and it was hard to keep track of the timelines. Some things were dragged out through multiple chapters while other events that should have been just as important were shortened to a few paragraphs. Also I could have done with fewer scenes with Rizzoli talking about "milking herself like a cow," because that's a really weird thing to say once, much less multiple times in a book.
