This was definitely very fun! Heaps of great representation and important topics tapped into. The writing style was a bit grating at times, with Maude as a first person narrator (unfortunately not helped in the audio book version by the authors own narration style), but it got easier after about half the book. I really wished the story would have stayed in the town they lived and not progressed to the court, with actual historical figures as characters (that's just a pet peeve of mine, and especially if it's the Tudors). But again, it was fun and I liked so much of it a whole lot!
