These stories are a perfect length for just before bedtime, giving readers little scenes from the films. Each story was a pleasant revisit for the adult reading the stories (makes me want to watch the films right now) and a fun introduction to the Star Wars universe for the young child being read to. The smallest member of the household has requested more Star Wars 5-minute stories, so I'll be on the hunt for more books!
... While reading this collection, I might have censored a particular scene in Cloud City: I just casually covered the text with my hand subtle-like, and changed a few words as I read aloud. The audience didn't notice. Trying to preserve the reveal! haha

3 Stars. The illustrations are great. The stories are pretty good. Could be written better and wish it had less big spoilers though. Almost don’t want to read it to my kid cuz it would ruin the big reveals in the movies. Also missing the final movie so there’s no real conclusion. But it was still pretty enjoyable.

I love these short re-tellings of different adventures in the Star Wars movies. This particular volume covered every film out so far, except Rogue One. The book included some great artwork depicting scenes from the films in vibrant colors. My kids really enjoyed this one as it is perfect for the attention span of young children, by including great illustrations and simply story telling.
