An unsettling and creative collection of over a dozen short stories told through photos, drawing and disjointed narratives. I would describe the stories as eerie, imaginative, delightful, odd and bewitching.

Maybe it is because I'm not much of a hipster, but I did not get this book. Confusing.

Leanne shapton: a legend

blooms of clarity spread across the glass.

she is who she was becoming.

the tasks of the day felt like brushing crumbs from a countertop.

and she watched him in the grainy dark.

i was of no minds.

she wants to be in her room, before dinner; with her mother cooking downstairs.

remember what you don’t get to see.
