Celaena is such a badass…and SAM. Always and forever Sam is in my heart. I just loved re-reading this and being reminded how much of a freaking badass and confident killer that Celaena Sardothien is. As well as how perfect Sam is. This short story captures the essence of Celaena and Sam, as well as how youth affects decisions and the boost of “immortality” it appears to give at that age.

oh boy seeing sam and celaena’s bond grow is going to hurt me. i love them working together. hated the pirate king. nothing too special about this one, but a good little backstory novella.

loveee her writing style its so easy to follow and i think i finished this novella in like 3 days and it wouldve been sooner in like an hour if i had time cs its js that fast paced and good
