Wow! Susie Tate did not disappoint!!! I’ve had this one recommended to me for a while now and I’m so glad I read it! Tate does a fantastic job of weaving a story and making you fall in love with her characters. Please go read some of Susie Tate’s books!

I cried, and I almost never cry at books. This was such a beautiful and heart wrenching depiction of domestic violence and recovery. Truly one of my favorite reads of the year!

This is one of the best examples of PTSD and trauma I've seen in the romance genre.

I took some points off for how oddly the passage of time was handled at times. Otherwise, this was a heartfelt and brilliant story that had me in fits of laughter and tears. Highly recommend.
