An excellent blend of Sci-fi & Politics

It's been a very looong read..

Dan Brown is one of my favourite author & this was his third book I've read..Dan always targets some great figures or organisations in his every book which makes it sometimes controversial but very exciting. He is a man with a vast knowledge in the fields of Science, Geology, Religion and many others sometimes it just makes me wonder!!

The story was very thrilling it's got excellent twists till end. The Character of Rachel Sexton was very strong at centre. There was a lot of mind blowing techie stuffs & A house of cards among politicians. There were lots of terrific action scenes..

I think there was some middle part which felt somewhat empty but the last part was much fascinating & exciting.

I must say I am glad that I held off on reading this book for so long. I have officially read all the Dan Brown publications that I know of. I have been so enthralled in each of his works that I often find they are impossible to put down. This one took a bit longer to read but I could not submerse myself into it completely. I am glad that it was stretched out though in hindsight. I tried to piece the plot together as I went along and found myself wrong at every turn. There is nothing more exciting about a book than that. Some say that Brown's books are flat but I beg to differ. They leave me wanting to know more or have more pages to read which can only be said about a good read. He ends the books on a simple and eloquent notion and often has very forward and seemingly fearless women that will take charge even when shocking. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 because it kept me going, talking to myself, shocked, and wanting more all the time. Well done Dan Brown.

My (current) favorite Dan Brown book.

I love all of the characters and the plot is extremely tense. Dan Brown might not have the best writing, but he can hook a reader in 50 pages.
The entire story seemed really good, and the twists actually took me by surprise at some points (not the ending, though. That one was predictable.)
This book turned out to be a lot more violent than I thought, seeing how this is one of his earlier works, he probably decided to take it safe after the Da Vinci Code.
Dan Brown has kept his repetitive story for a long time. You could replace Michael Tolland with Robert Langdon and it’s just the same as his other books.
Details like Tolland and Pickering’s grief, and Rachel’s are barely touched upon. It had some potential but it didn’t really affect the rest of the story.

Overall, great, captivating story, with a few flaws and signs of repetitiveness.
