Very cute short story. Plot was silly but entertaining.
I think my biggest problem with this story is that I hate the main character's sister. She is portrayed as nice because she "helps out" and buys her food, but the whole reason why she can't make public what her fiance did and the reason why she left him at the altar is because she doesn't want him to fire her sister. So she had to sell every house antique and has no money and no job to spare her sister's? Wouldn't it make more sense to have her sister move in with her, make public what happened so that she won't have to pay for the wedding and get to keep all of their stuff? Ugh. So silly.

Bittersweet

This was a short read. Verity is back at it with her sidekick Frankie. This time she is helping. I love the whole gang. Her sister Melody especially. There are reasons behind the ghostly activity in a antique shop. Verity has to find out who or what before time runs out. This book is full of excitement and even some tears will be shed. Ghost stories are some of the best stories.

A Ghostly Gift is a short story in the Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries that takes places just after volume one.

Verity ends up helping her sisters friend who owns a second hand/antique store that is haunted. One of the ghosts is starting to get aggressive and break things.

Verity brings a reluctant Frankie along as she tries to pieces the pieces together. It’s a very sad and heartwarming love story. It’s a sweet edition with all the charm of the larger novels. It’s well developed and paced.

Audio: Tavia Gilbert is a fantastic narrator. She brings out the cast of characters and that small southern town feel.

A Ghostly Gift was a delight. I had fun with this novella. It was a delicious treat to the Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series. I highly recommend this paranormal cozy mysteries series.

This is a cute short story in the Southern Ghost Hunter Series. Verity is asked to help out a friend who is having trouble with ghosts in her resale shop. Verity and her ghostly sidekick set out to find out who is causing the disturbance. It is a quick enjoyable read with a happy ending.

Much lighter and heartwarming than the first book in the series. This is equally charming but for very different reasons. It’s a short story (there is no Lucy) and there is much less of a spooky element than in the first book.
This is just a sweet ghost story with a happy ending.
