Easily the most satirical Bennet I've read so far, this short story takes place over the course of one funeral. Observed from several perspectives, it pokes fun at religion, sexual politics, celebrity and the show of grief. Funny read.

Qualcosa non mi ha del tutto convinta. A tratti la trama sembra molto forzata e artificiosa; l'umorismo inglese può piacere o no, ma indubbiamente alcune situazioni che Bennett ha creato sono talmente surreali da essere amaramente ironiche. Un libro piacevole da leggere in una serata, ma non mi ha lasciato nulla.
