This book was one of the best thrillers I've read this year. It was gruesome, and hard to read at times, but I couldn't put this book down!

I am death is the seventh book in the series by Chris Carter. This book, however, was released as a standalone novel. When the body of a young women turns up near LA's international airport staged to look like like a human five-point star. Hunter knows he has to work fast to find her killer but before he can do anything another victim turns up. The autopsy reveals these victims died in horrendous circumstances for this killer is dead.

By the time you get to this book in the series, you feel like you really know the characters. This I feel is because of how well Carter has written them. His descriptive writing and his writing style allow you to really understand and love these characters.

This book was really easy to read with a great plot, fantastic characters that you can relate to and feel empathy for, the characters are also really likeable too. Carters writing style is really captivating and easy to follow, I really enjoy his writing style. I also like the fact that although this book is part of the series, you can read this book as a standalone novel.

Yet again Chris Carter has done an amazing job. I just love his books. For these reasons I have chosen to give this book Five out of Five Stars
