I enjoyed the book but I think I may stop reading this series -- it seems they all have the same plot with a little variation. The only part that seems to vary is the end when you find out whodunit and why.

I love not knowing what's going to happen next or who did it! Love the surprise endings she always delivers!

Great mystery. Loved the friendly ghost in this book and the romance. I am enjoying this series and the new Krewe. Interesting characters and the mystery kept me guessing until the end. I love when there are multiple suspects and it is not apparent who the killer is. Thanks for a great book.

My first Heather Graham book! I enjoyed it, especially as my husband used to work for a SFX house :)

I really enjoyed this one. The locked room murder case was great! I guessed the whodunnit early on ... but then flip-flopped throughout the book. I wasn't 100% sure who it actually was until the reveal.

Sean & Madison worked well together, and I loved the ghosts in this book. I was a little underwhelmed by the rest of the Krewe in this book. Other than you go here and do this ... they didn't have a lot of interaction in this book.

I missed the "team" mentality in this book that the others have.

Audio Rating: 4.00 (not part of the overall rating)

First thought when finished: Not my favorite in the series but still a good read!

What I Thought of the Case: The Unholy was set in Hollywood and managed to bring in the old mixed with the new. This story had a very Noir type of feel that kept me reading from beginning to the end. As with each case before the murderer is very real but there are small paranormal elements that play into solving the case. The Unholy was not hard to figure out (as to who was involved) but it did have a few twists at the end that kept you wondering if you guessed right. That is such a fun element to mystery reading for me.

What I Thought of the Characters: I really love this new team! The Unholy is their 2nd case and they are truly beginning to come together. Each person brings their own strengths and weaknesses to the table. Sean is at the center of the story and he makes me swoon. He is strong, reliable, loyal, and just a tad bit HOT! His backstory is so sweet that I dare you not to fall in love. His love interest, Madison, is a good match for him and her being friends with the ghost of "Bogey" was great! The characters are what I adore about this series overall!

What I Thought of the Audio: Luke Daniels narrated this so you know I loved it! The running time was about 8 hours and perfect for a work day. The pacing and articulation were great! I pretty much recommend listening to any book that Luke narrates.

Final Thought: I love this series overall and would recommend it to Romantic Suspense/Mystery lovers that don't mind a slight paranormal tinge to their books!
