This book was not nearly as strong as the first one. I feel like nothing happened. But I am excited that moving on to book 3 the set up is there for the book to become more original. 
Fair warning there are a lot of similar sayings to a favorite a court of book. Love the similarities but I am so ready for this book to become its own thing

Honestly Melissa Roehrich writes amazing and rich fantasy novels! I also love Scarlet so much and I am ready for book 3 in this series!

Not as good as the first but I'm so locked in. A little confused at times, but excited for the next book nonetheless
