Just what! I see some similarities to a certain other book however, the plot is unique. Was it frustrating, absolutely. Was it a whirlwind of secrets and hurt/confused feelings, yes. I can’t even begin to parse out who’s who when it comes to the God’s and their animals. There are too many to remember. I know a certain bargain is going to bite a certain someone in the ass. That little tidbit of information near the end, wild! My heart is already breaking. I’m scared of what is to come for all of them in the next book. I have become attached and that was a bad idea. Secrets are still unfolding and secrets are still being kept so we shall see what is left when it all comes out.

There's so much that happened in this book! Ahhh! I loved getting to know everyone in the kingdom, the challenges they all faced, the heartbreaks, the healing, and that ending!! Amazing!

79. The words “snarl” or “snarled” were used 79 times in this book. Literally everyone snarls.
But that’s nothing compared to the 138 times the phrase “twin flame” was used. It’s a really good story but if I have to read another passage about how twin flames deeply understand and support each other unconditionally, all while the actual twin flames in the story continually lie, deceive and argue with one another…well the story can only carry us so far.
Will I read book 3? Yes of course. Will I make it to book 5? Who knows. I usually lose interest around book 4 in longer series so who knows.
Despite what it might seem like, I really do like this series so far. I keep changing the rating from 3 stars to 4, I would really love .5 stars to become an option. Overall, It could have been a lot shorter with a less stagnant and repetitive plot, but I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
