I have mixed feelings about this book. It’s good, but the characters quickly become very… annoying. Still, I think it was a very cinematic and fun book. Love the ending

Liked previous book by the author much more

This was good book did not think it would end like this though that is for sure. Kinda sad but I loved all the horror movie stuff in it.

It's a great mixture of murder mystery and supernatural horror. The protagonist deals with childhood trauma resurfaced by a work travel to the place it all began. She has to face the events all over again.
The whole story is based on a supernatural horror flick the main protagonist Laura was part of as a child and now there's a reboot made, she is interviewing the cast for the magazine she works at and things go south very quickly. The Needleman is a great monster in this and really creeped me out at points...

I loved it, I can't say much more.
