Laura Warren has changed her name and escaped the limelight, leaving behind her former identity as Polly Tremaine, the star of a creepy horror movie with an almost cult-like following. A fast-paced, campy thriller where no one can be trusted - not even the main character, eerily referred to as the "Final Girl". I'm usually not much for paranormal horror/thrillers, but this one was grounded enough that I was able to easily follow the storyline without being able to predict every last twist and turn in an unentertaining way. Is it totally over the top? Of course. But it still kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I only put it down because I started it so late yesterday and had to go to sleep.
