I love Rylan but was a bit surprised by how good this was - brilliantly read too. Chapter 7 on eurovision is particularly great!

Brutally honest, delightfully warm and funny. Rylan you have my heart.

I don’t think the intention was to read this book but rather listen to it on audiobook. There was a lot of waffling and repetition! I read it with Rylan in mind but there were a lot of pages that had no substance but would probably have made sense if he was stood in front of me speaking about it.
But Rylan comes across as a nice guy who’s been through some shit recently with the breakdown of his marriage. I think he has a bit more healing to do and I think he might have written this too soon. I love a memoir that goes behind what I’ve seen but in a different way (in this case, Big Brother, X Factor) and he certainly shares the gossip. He does a lot of name dropping and parts I feel like he thinks he can do no wrong but that’s not a criticism, it’s positive affirmation like that that will help him through the bad times.
Nice guy, interesting story but not to be read, get the audiobook.
