anna and ariadne

I love Anna Lightwood so much and this novella was adorable and heartwarming and everything good in the world

Anna Lightwood

Anna was a great character. I loved all of the little Easter eggs of other books. And Jem! Give me all the books with Jem.

This was a much better novella than the last one. And with Maureen Johnson at the helm, I'm not surprised.

I really loved seeing Anna's progression and her acceptance of herself. And that scene with Cecily and Gabriel at the end?! Heart melted.

I also really enjoyed seeing the repercussions on Matthew from the last novella. I'm very interested in what awaits him. Also that brief scene with James Herondale? About how he looks like his father and all the girls are starting to notice him and his obsessive love of books? JUST SLAYED ME. COMPLETELY.

Again, not a full five stars because of one specific person. Sorry not sorry.

I loved this story soooo much, Anna’s development at the end warmed my heart and I loved how Gabriel and Cecily were so understanding of their daughter. Like Anna honey Ariadne ain’t shit, you’re gonna do much better. Also Strangers by Halsey is such a perfect song for this story

okay. This was, in my opinion, the best one yet! Mainly because of Anna and her gender and way of expression, her liking girls. Lovely! I loved this one A LOT!!

*3.5

SO GOOD. It’s my favorite so far. Anna is such an amazing character and I love her so much. I can’t wait for TLH
(Gabriel and Cecily are the best)

Wow!! Absolutely phenomenal, this was the best one yet. By far!
