I found this from Sophia’s tik tok and I do not regret running to read this!! This was so fantastic and unique it had great themes and tropes but truthfully I didn’t find it similar to the other fantasy books I’ve read. I immediately went to Etsy and ordered a copy signed and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series! I recommend all the way!! Also every character is very hot and I am obsessed with each and everyone of them especially nightstrider.

I need book 2 like NOW please.

I've been following Sophia for a while and I have been eagerly anticipating this book for a long time. And it did NOT disappoint. In fact, it was even BETTER than I expected! Sophia has a way with words that's entirely absorbing and atmospheric.

Nightstrider follows four main characters; Wren, Alaric, Caine, and Ila. Each are beautifully complicated and flawed and well rounded. They live in the Reverie or the Wake, a dream world and real world respectively, and the fate of these worlds hinge on them stopping the nightmarishly powerful Para Warwick from getting his hands on a power that could unmake the Boundary between the worlds.

I love, love, loved it. The world building is astounding! It was a little confusing in the beginning (along with following 4 characters you don't know yet), but once you hit a stride, the book hooks into you and won't let you go even after you finish the last page. I am so excited to get my hands on book two in spring of 2023! The ending is well done and sets up book two perfectly!

Overall, a fantastic dark fantasy with unforgettable characters and action!

WHAT A RIDE

Oh my god I was not ready for this book but I love every single page I read. If I have to recommend this book to someone I would say if you're looking to start reading adult fantasy this where you should start: different POVs, interesting and deep characters, romance and an amazing antagonist. I cried, scream and laugh so hard with this book it's not even fun but I will make sure everyone reads this at least once in their life

tropes:
- chosen one
- arrange marrige
- forced proximity
- found family

I’m really not feeling this setting or connect with the characters at this point, so I’m not very enticed to keep reading. It’s a shame cuz the blurb sounded right up my alley, but I just can’t get into it.

Ugh this was a good one! A book where your dreams/nightmares can become a reality. Great story, world building, and characters. Can’t wait for the second book in series.

I absolutely loved this book! the whole concept of dream beings and universes is unlike any book i've read. The plot was so detailed and intricate! The characters are so well written and I love the tension between the love interests. I can not wait to own my own copy of this, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves high fantasy and fantasy romance.
