Ok Jeremy is somehow my most favorite and least favorite??? His psycho leanings were actually more distressing than I expected but he def has the most emotional intelligence of the guys I’ve read so far (killian, Niko, and lan).
I loved Cecily. Her character hit just right for me. I like that she stood up to Jeremy and was like THIS IS NOT HOW RELATIONSHIPS WORK YOU PSYCO and he heard her and adjusted. Whereas all the other FMC have just kinda been like well I like his brand of crazy it’s fine. I accept it. Definitely enjoyed this one.

First book I’ve read from the legacy of gods. At first I was struggling to click with it but I loved the relationship between Cece and Jeremy. I don’t think I will continue with the rest of the series but if I do, I’ll be sure to review.
There’s certain parts to this book that felt too repetitive and not needed.

“I’d rather be smashed and broken to pieces with you than be whole without you.”
This was a series of books recommended over and over again as dark romance like the LORD series. I loved this series despite its wild shenanigans much more than the LORD series but it still has some morally black characters. So don’t go in thinking it will be sunshine and rainbows lol. This is not a pitch black book by any means but definitely read your trigger warnings.

This story centers on Jeremy and Cecily and they are my absolute favorite couple now of the first three books. There is of course some unhinged debauchery with him being leader of the Heathens and in the mafia lol, but…….this story probably has the most consent and it addresses mental health. It was a clear case of he falls first and she explores A LOT. We continue to see other sides of all the side characters. It would be doable to read as a stand alone but knowing the characters from the previous two books adds a lot of context and family understanding. The ends of these books when the kids’ dads talk to each other cracks me up. Anyway this is my favorite so far and I didn’t think I liked him at all in the first two books ha

To be honest I was so close to give up on this serie from the first book I dnf god of malice and I wasn't sure if I should continue and THANK GOD I didn't give up on this serie because this book give me everything I was looking for and more.
Where do I start Cecily is my favorite character in this serie, always looking out for her friends, making sure they're okay, and ready to go to bat for them whenever they need her, witnessing her journey to comfort in her own skin was beautiful and JEREMY is ugghh I love him He was possessive and caring but only for his family and Cecily.
He wasn't your typical book guy who's all macho and confident. Instead, he had this realness about him – he was vulnerable, struggled with his past, and had to face it to be with Cecily. What I loved most was that it wasn't Cecily who had all the insecurities this time. It was him, and seeing him work through that was everything. He showed that guys can have their struggles too, and that's totally okay.
Also that russian roulette scene my JAW dropped so low, it could've caught flies. Seriously I half-expected someone to come by with a broom and sweep it up off the floor.
