I read the first two books over a year ago and I’m pretty sure they weren’t nearly as good as this one, I think they got 4 and 3 stars.

Did I read the entirety of Rina's catalogue because I wanted to read this book? Yep.
What in the young Russian Zade Meadows was this? Why was this so packed with everything?
And why did I eat it up?
Was I kind of disappointed when I finished because a lot of people were hyping up this book for having a really intense enemies to lovers plot when in my opinion it wasn't that special? Yes. However, I did like it in the end.
He kills, he stalks, he does a lot of things that would count him as the reddest of red flags. In fact, the whole forest is painted in red. But then he counts every single freckle on her cheeks. I'd say that pretty much counters out.
Also, why did I previously despise Adrian Volkov? I despised him in his books all for him to make me cry in his POV in this book.

I absolutely love this book. I love the relationship between both main characters. I felt like this book was spicier for me. Not saying that the others aren’t spicy they are this one just really hit the nail on the head for me. Definitely can’t wait to keep reading the series and see what happens!

Was going to be a 4 star read till the last 90% when jeremy caught Cecily sneaking with Landon and he got mad at her after her confession of helping Landon start the fire that almost killd jeremy and annika, and what does cece do? SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO BE MAD AND HURT OVER HIM BEING MAD TO HER BETRAYEL ? I know the girl has a victime "poor me im so traumatized" complexe but girl bffr rn you lied and snuck around with his enemy . That part made me lower my rating she was intolerable and for a smart psychology major she had 0 self awareness.
The 3 stars is for jeremy my husband and niko and remi who i can always count on to make the book funny and overall better
Cece was a total pushover and a doormat letting landon manipulate the shit out of her dumb ass like what the fuck did she think he was gonna do with the security details she got for him? Sneak in and bake the heathens cookies? She knows he's a deranged psychopath and still helped him like an idiot.
and her friends insulting her and dragging her to trouble where she always had to take care of them cought Ava cough, glyndon was the only decent friend who noticed her and tried to be there for her, jeremy was 100% right by making ava cry when he told her she's a leeche that always takes from Cece but never gives back and she always tells cece's secrets to other people she's a bad friend, the only good friends in the group are glyndon and Annika and creighton who also always protected her from Landon
Also the overprotective dad meeting the scary bf is getting boring , all the scenes from Levi to Adrian to Xander are all the same and sooooooo dragged on and fucking cringe
The only decent parents so far is Kim, Adrian and Lia the rest are all annoying af including Aiden Elsa and the stick that's up their asses
I genuinely hope god of ruin aka landon and mia's book is better, i was told Mia is a bad ass so im hopefully because im so sick of these annoying fmc except glyndon my baby
