Oh my god. Why?? This book was so beautifully magical and heartbreaking at the same time

When I first started reading this book I thought to myself, "This dog better not die just to make us feel bad." And guess what? The dog dies just to make us sad. Minus one star. Minus another star for the twist ending that just raised more questions.

I liked it. The idea behind the story dealing with loss was brilliant. Loved the characters and settings of a corn field symphony.

The sucker punch of emotions just hit me at the end. I saw it coming, but it still made me cry
